Community Involvement

Law, clients, and our community is the bedrock of our firm. We are proud to give back to our community and participate in local initiatives that will help our local friends and neighbors thrive.

  • Served on the Legal Aid Family Law Panel.

  • Worked as Deputy Returning Officer and Poll Clerk at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal Elections.

  • Volunteered for Leslie Barron and Iqra Khalid (Candidates), Liberal Party of Canada in the Federal Elections.

  • Volunteered at United Nations Associations in Canada Toronto Branch (Civil Rights and Social Action).

  • Worked closely with the most vulnerable people in the societies (Refugee Claimants) during the legal internship and while managing the virtual law firm at Ryerson University.

  • As a President of the Muslim Students Association at Bond University, managed budgets, hosted Iftar Events throughout the month of Ramadan, Arranged for the Female Students to be able to pray Friday (Jummah) Prayers in congregation at University.

  • Volunteered with the Esteemed Senior Counsel, Stephen Keim (Brisbane Based Barrister) in Queensland, Australia.

  • Actively Volunteered at Legal Clinics and Legal Community Centers.

  • Student Representative in Numerous Courses throughout the academic journey.

  • Discussed Business Proposal of Electric Bikes and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Semcon Group during my Corporate Law Course.

  • Competed in Baker & McKenzie Client Interview Competition, Brian Or Mooting Competition, and Clayton Utz Negotiation Competition.

  • Volunteered as a Student Ambassador, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University.
