Provincial nominee programs (PNP)

PNP creates a pathway for immigrants looking to permanently reside in a specific province in Canada. Each Province has their own specific set of qualifications in line with its labor gaps and market shortages. Hence, special attention is given to those individuals with certain skill sets and experiences that meet the province’s criteria.

To apply for the Provincial Nominee Program, you must meet the requirements of one of the Province’s non-Express Entry streams and be nominated under that stream. To gain the nomination from the specific Province, an applicant must be in contact with the respective province and follow their specific instructions. Please keep in mind that PNP’s change over time and new streams are introduced, hence, it is crucial to stay updated on the newest programs.
